The aim of ‘Understanding the principles and practices of assessment’ is to enable the learner to know and understand the principles and practices that underpin assessment. The aim of ‘Assess occupational competence in the work environment’ is to assess the learner’s performance in evaluating occupational competence in an individual’s work environment.
